Get your taste buds ready for the ultimate showdown in the Southern Sauce and Seasoning Competition! We invite all passionate creators of delectable sauces and rubs to enter their finest concoctions into this esteemed contest. Deadline to enter is June 30 2024.
All products must be commercially available with complete nutritional information and UPC, and they must be packaged and shipped to Southern Sauce and Seasoning Competition, at PO Box 596, Carencro, LA 70520.
Each entry must include a one-page information sheet with the sauce or seasoning name, category, producer's name, contact information (address, email, and phone number), and a brief description along with printed payment confirmation email.
Submissions are open from now until June 30, 2024, and winners will be announced on July 30th.
Awards will be shipped out following announcement of winners. Entries will be evaluated by a panel of five judges, who will assess them based on flavor and packaging.
Yes, first entry is $60, second is $50 and third or more is $40 per entry
Yes, you can enter into multiple categories for your product. Registration fee applies to each category entered.
ALL rubs and sauces must be commercially produced and available through wholesale, retail or direct marketing generally available to the public.
Overall sauce winner and overall seasoning/rub will win championship belt! Top 3 in each category will receive a medal.
All products will be scored out of 10, based on appearance and taste.
Sauces and rubs will be judged by a panel of esteemed foodies and restaurateurs.
We are located in South Louisiana but we are receiving entry’s from around the world!
